Now please go to page 199 from Laser b2 and read the example question. Follow the instructions but instead of writing about a play, write a review on Slumdog Millionaire. Read the example answer and useful phrases and vocabulary. Pay attention to paragraphing, register and expressions.

Now please do b and c. Look up the words in Work out! and make sentences with them. Bring information about an invention you might be interested in, from an everyday item to a more sophisticated device, and be ready to talk about it in class.

Read chapter 67 from" The curious incident......" carefully, paying attention to Christopher's visit to his neighbours. Christopher says:"Talking to strangers is not something I usually do. I do not like talking to strangers." (page 45 )

Write briefly what happens in this chapter and tell me what you think about what he says about talking to strangers and what he does in this chapter.

1.Please, look up the following expressions in the dictionary. Write down the appropriate entry and a sentence with it. You will find them on page 55.

"I'm going to hit the hay."

"It's brass monkeys out there."

"Let's rustle up some tucker."

2.On page 49 Mr. Wise tells Christopher: "Bloody hell, policemen are getting younger, aren't they"

Christopher is not able to understand this statement neither the statements above in 1.

Read your notes on the Asperger's syndrome and explain why this is so.
